CommTouch was founded in 1991 in a chicken coop in Ein Vered, Israel (beats all those garages any day!) and has its Corporate Headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. The company is led by a core group of strong technologists, media, and marketing people, dedicated to the communication experience and to making the E-mail experience a total "must" in every household and a really different and compelling experience for users all over the world.

Nahum Sharfman,

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, previously served with National Semiconductor for 11 years in development and management roles. He holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in High Energy Nuclear Physics.

Isabel Maxwell,

President, an international film and television producer for 15 years prior to founding the McKinley Group, creator of the pioneer Magellan-on-line Search Engine. An Oxford graduate in Jurisprudence, History and French, she also spent 3 years as senior vice president of marketing and sales for Research On Demand Inc., an international information brokering company, based in Berkeley and Sausalito, California.

Gideon Mantel,

Founder and Chief Operating Officer, previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the Gali Manufacturing Group, and holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
